I was told the writers from Y&R were hoping to write Sally into the show and would I be interested in joining. I got a phone call on a Monday from my agent. At the time no one not even Courtney, maybe not even executive producer on B&B and Y&R, Bradley Bell knew that she would show up only months later in Genoa City. The Covid shutdown played a huge role in the way Courtney left town and left the show. “Though I don’t know what the future holds this chapter of Sally has sadly come to an end.” It was “an abrupt ending to a monumental journey”, Courtney wrote on her social media, announcing she was leaving the soap. ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’: So was Courtney.
